Charles Randall Landers

Obituary Date: Sunday, November 5, 2017

Charles Randall Landers, age 75 of Clarkesville, Georgia passed away on Sunday, November 05, 2017 following an extended illness.

Born in Clarkesville, Georgia on June 03, 1942, he was the son of the late Charlie Washington Landers & Fannie Lou Harris Landers. Randall was a 1960 graduate of North Habersham High School. He worked with Fieldale Farms Corporation and retired as a Field Supervisor with 42 years of dedicated service. In his spare time, Randall enjoyed cattle farming, gardening as well as fishing. Most of all, he enjoyed spending precious time with his family. Granddaddy Randall, as he was known to his grandchildren, will be deeply missed by all his family & friends. He was a member of Line Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Heather Landers London and a sister, Melba Landers Nicholson.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Sue McCollum Landers of Clarkesville, GA; daughter & son-in-law, Kay Landers McEntire & Rev. Kenneth McEntire of Demorest, GA; son-in-law, Rev. Reid London of Clarkesville, GA; sister & brother-in-law, Janice Landers Ward & Butch Ward of Commerce, GA; grandchildren, Kasey Charles & Natasha McEntire, Kolby & Brittany McEntire, all of Demorest, GA; Aslan, Walden, & Tennyson London, all of Clarkesville, GA; great-grandchildren, Blair & Kamryn McEntire, Payton, Paisley Kayte, & Keaton Charles McEntire, all of Demorest, GA; special cousin, Dewitt Loudermilk of Mt. Airy, GA; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives, & friends.  

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 09, 2017 from the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth McEntire & Rev. Reid London officiating. Interment will follow in the Habersham Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
