Eddie Hartwell Jenkins

Mr. Eddie Hartwell Jenkins, 84, of Gainesville, Georgia passed away Friday, November 3, 2017 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 6, 2017 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Thurman Parker, Rev. Earl Jarrard and Rev. Randolph Batty officiating.  Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, November 4, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday, November 5, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on October 18, 1933 in Gainesville, GA he was the son of the late William T. Jenkins and Daphine Miller Jenkins. He was retired from Springs Ind. Where he worked in the shipping and receiving department. Mr. Jenkins was a veteran of the United States Air Force and he was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.

Mr. Jenkins is survived by his wife, Sandra Jenkins of Gainesville; daughter and son in law, Rebecca Lamon and husband George of Gainesville; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Carolyn Jenkins of AK.
