Paul Raymond Theobald, 81, of Cumming passed away peacefully on November 1, 2017. He lived in Forsyth County for 17 years, and was originally from Paducah, KY. He was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Barbara; son, John (Karen) of Marietta; son David (Kellie) of Marietta; daughter Laura (Doug) of Cumming; and daughter Julie (Jason) of Sandy Springs; and six grandchildren Braden & Brooke Theobald, Mark & Marie Theobald, Caroline & Andrew Oliver. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph & Mary; and his brother, John Edward.
Paul was a graduate of Georgia Tech, with a B.S. in Ceramic Engineering. He holds numerous U.S. patents for his work with several large technology companies.
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 6 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Benedict Catholic Church located on Parsons Road in Johns Creek.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Alzheimer’s Disease Research or a charity of your choice.
