Leonard C. "Baldy" Hayes

Mr. Leonard C. “Baldy” Hayes, age 85 of Clermont, passed away on October 30, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, November 3, 2017 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Carl Andreasen will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00pm on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at the funeral home.

Leonard was born on March 14, 1932 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Arthur and Avie Ann Priest Hayes.

Leonard was preceded in death by his parents; sister Bonnie Dell Adams; and wife Peggie Truelove Hayes. He is survived by his daughter Susan Howell; son Charles Hayes; granddaughters Sarah Howell, Alexis Howell, Lacie Howell, and Danielle Howell; grandsons Casey Howell and Forest Howell; sister and brother-in-law Patricia and Lee Chastain; nieces Sonya C. Atkins and Lesia Chastain. The family would like to say a special thank you his friend, Juanita Hatcher, and the Andreasen Family for all their love and support.
