Marlene Sliauter

Mrs. Marlene Sliauter, age 80, of Maysville, GA died Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Northridge Health and Rehab.  Mrs. Sliauter was born in Cicero, IL to the late George and Isabelle Zimineski Sirek.  She was a retired LPN at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, where she continued to volunteer.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sliauter was preceded in death by her son, Russell Sliauter.

Mrs. Sliauter is survived by her husband of 63 years, Jack Sliauter; daughters, Mary Ann O’Kelley (Jay) of Maysville, Jacquelin Schickram (David) of West Chicago, IL, Janene Ann Smith (Russ) of Gainesville and Jennifer Ann Ayers of Maysville; sons, Michael Sliauter of Charleston, SC and Joe Sliauter (Jennifer) of Maysville; sister, Cynthia Sirek Smith (Robert) of Aurora, IL; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 4 PM, Wednesday, November 1 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Barrett officiating.  Interment will follow in Sunrise Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 2 to 4 PM.
