William L. "Bill" Boling

William L. "Bill" Boling, 71, formerly of Ball Ground, Georgia and for the past five years, a resident of Cumming, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2017.  He was the son of the late Hugh Boling and Mary Ruth "Toots" Boling of Ball Ground.

Bill grew  up in Ball Ground and graduated from Cherokee County High School.  He later attended Reinhardt College.

Bill is survived by his sister, Mary B. Hicks of Woodstock, Georgia; brothers and sisters-in-law, Drs. Fred and Barbara Boling and Hugh and Julianne Boling of Cumming.  He is also survived by his niece, Mary Boling; and nephews, Ben E. Boling of Cumming and Dr. William B. Boling of Gainesville.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 31, at Ingram Funeral Home.  A graveside service will held Wednesday, November 1, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ball Ground Baptist Church Cemetery.

Bill's family would like to extend their appreciation to the loving staff at Chestnut Ridge Nursing Home for their care over the past three years.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ball Ground United Methodist Church in memory of Bill.
