Patricia McIntyre Farmer

Mrs. Patricia McIntyre Farmer, age 76 of 1752 Rock Quarry Circle, Toccoa passed away Saturday, October 28, 2017 at her residence.

A daughter of the late Walter and Clifton Kinsey McIntyre, she was born June 6, 1941 in Stephens County, Georgia where she lived a greater part of her life.  She was retired from Reliable Electric and a member of Rock Quarry Congregational Holiness Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Farmer in 2004.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Steve Gates of Tiger, Georgia; two sons and daughter-in-law, Jeff Farmer of Toccoa and Jonathon and Janet Farmer of Hartwell, Georgia; seven step-children, Dusty Farmer, Roger Farmer, Weldon Farmer, Glenda Garner, Judy Cole, Deborah Torres and Anita Farmer; six grandchildren and a number of step-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday, October 30, 2017, 2 O’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend John Umberhant and The Reverend Clarence Reynolds officiating.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Robert Murphy, Gary Simpson, Earl Smith, Irvin Isbell, Jeffrey Farmer and Jonathon Farmer.  Honorary pallbearers will be Amanda Wellman, Daniel Wellman, Haley Farmer, Kolton DeFoor and Jaron DeFoor.

The family will be a the home on Rock Quarry Circle and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Sunday, 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. until 9 p.m.  Online condolences can be made at www.acree-davisfh.com.
