John C. Haddad

John C. Haddad, age 60, of Buford, GA passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017. Mr. Haddad is survived by his wife of twenty-two years, Marilyn Madock Haddad, Buford, GA; children, John Haddad, Buford, GA, Kyle and Carolina Haddad, Buford, GA, Melissa and Craig Cebula, Hillsborough, NJ, Erica and Garey Gomez, Decatur, GA; six grandchildren, Kaylee and Alyssa Haddad, Maxwell Cebula, Violet Gomez, Victor Gomez and Emilia Haddad; brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Sharon Haddad, Tucson, AZ; and three nephews. Mr. Haddad was born on July 29, 1957 in Patterson, New Jersey. He was a 1975 graduate of Woodbridge High School, and 1979 graduate of Kean University in Union, New Jersey with a Bachelor’s Degree. He was employed with Oracle Company as a sales consultant and was a member of St. Elizabeth Orthodox Church in Woodstock, GA. Mr. Haddad was a “die hard” Mets fans and a Falcons fan. He enjoyed woodworking, target shooting, playing the piano and gardening. He loved his 2016 Mustang. A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Orthodox Church, 2265 East Cherokee Drive, Woodstock, GA 30188 with Father Matthew Dutko officiating. Mr. Haddad will be placed in the church to lie in state at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford with a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, October 31, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Flanigan Funeral Home in Buford, GA with a Panachida Service at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, Wounded Warriors or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in memory of John Haddad.
