Today we celebrate the life of Darin Lee Curran
Born to Gerald and Mary Louise McClure Curran on March 5, 1965 in Decatur, IL, he was the youngest of four children. Darin is predeceased by his parents, his mother-in-law and father-in-law and his sister Susan Tyree. He is survived by his older siblings Brenda (Bill) Hayes, Murfreesboro, TN, Terry (Jo Ellyn) Curran, Cerro Gordo, IL and lots of nieces and nephews.
A graduate of Cerro Gordo, IL High School and Southern Illinois University with a marketing degree, Darin worked his entire 30-year career at State Farm Insurance, starting in Murfreesboro, TN and later relocating to Duluth, Georgia.
Darin married his high school and college sweetheart, Trenda VanHorn Curran, and they celebrated their 28th anniversary in July. They have 3 wonderful children: Zachary, Miranda and Noah.
Darin loved collecting different lines of Snoopy items, as well as Department 56 villages, He thoroughly enjoyed boating and all things lake life. He was also a faithful blood and platelet donor since high school.
Darin was the kind of friend everyone wants to have, as evidenced by all you who came to pay tribute to his life.
He had a big heart, a big smile and loved well. He is already missed by all whose lives were enriched by his life.
Our loss is Heaven’s gain.

Memorial services will be held at 11am on Saturday October 28, 2017 at Sugar Hill United Methodist Church.
