Marcine Rose Hubbard Griffin

Mrs. Marcine Rose Hubbard Griffin, age 48 of 314 Persimmon Street, Toccoa passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017 at her residence.

A daughter of the late Jasper Williams Hubbard and Cecelia Hubbard, she was born January 2, 1969 in Stephens County, Georgia where she lived all her life.  She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her husband of the home, James Griffin, Sr.; two daughters, Kimberly Griffin and Amber Griffin both of Toccoa; son and daughter-in-law, James Griffin, Jr. and Christy of Toccoa; grandchildren, Cecelia O’Barr, Triscity Griffin, Amyliana Griffin, Alan Griffin, Noel Griffin, Gabriel Griffin and Harley Griffin; brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Cindy Hubbard of Hartford, Connecticut; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Dale Richardson of Summerville, South Carolina; mother-in-law, Jean Griffin of Toccoa.

Funeral services will be Friday, October 27, 2017, 2 O’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Dorsey Holmes officiating.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, James Griffin, Jr., Anthony Charles, Michael Setren, Travis Long, Nathan O’Barr and Daniel Powers.

The family will be at the home on Persimmon Street and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Thursday, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.  Online condolences can be made at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will follow in the Zebulon Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Marcine Hubbard Griffin.
