Sara Lillian Brinson Tankersley

Sara Lillian Brinson Tankersley, 76, of Gainesville, Georgia passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017 at her residence.

Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Drewery Loggins officiating.

Born on February 14, 1941 in Millen, GA she was the daughter of the late Charles Harold and Sara Lucretia Perry Brinson. She was retired as home health care provider. She attended Blackshear Place Baptist Church.

She  is survived by her daughters and sons in law, Tracy and Chuck Parris of Hokes Bluff, AL, Amanda and David Sullivan of Gainesville; granddaughter and husband, Lauren and Cary Kilgore of Glencoe, AL; granddaughter, Sarah Jordan Godbee of Hokes Bluff, AL; great-grandchildren, Brylee Kilgore, Brooks Kilgore; granddaughter, Jessica Edwards of Clayton, GA, grandson, A.J. Sullivan of Clayton, GA; great grandchildren, Brayden Edwards, Hunter Edwards, Jacob Sullivan all of Clayton; sister and brother in law, Barbara and Jimmy Wald of Titusville, FL; sister, Linda Ferguson of Portsmouth, VA and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family request that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center, 2150 Limestone Pkwy # 222, Gainesville, GA 30501 or to American Leukemia Foundation, Inc., 115 Oak Street, Roswell, GA 30075
