Gregory “Greg” Lamar Brown

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Gregory “Greg” Lamar Brown, age 60 of Lawrenceville, Georgia who entered into rest Thursday, October 19, 2017.  Mr. Brown was born in Atlanta, Georgia a son of the late Marvin Lamar Brown and Mary Montine Moon Brown of Lawrenceville.  Mr. Brown was a Heavy Equipment Operator with GP Enterprises.  In addition to his father, Mr. Brown is preceded by a son, Donnie Lamar Brown.

Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Wanda Lynn Eller Brown of Lawrenceville, daughter, Sabrina Brown Alegria of Flowery Branch.  Three brothers; James Calvin Brown of Dacula, Larry Bradley Brown of Oklahoma, and Donald Winford Brown of Lawrenceville.  Three step sons; Lucas, Bryson and Jacob Carpenter all of Lawrenceville.  Eight grandchildren and former wife Judy Brown of Flowery Branch also survive. 

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 23, 2017 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Bo Whisnant, Reverend Bubba Dubois and Reverend Charles Elrod officiating with burial to follow in Grey Hill Cemetery in Commerce, Georgia.  The family will receive friends, 4:00 – 9:00 P.M. Sunday, October 22, 2017 at the funeral home.
