Wayne Youngblood

Mr. Wayne Youngblood, age 91 of 138 Letourneau Drive, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Sunday, October 15, 2017 at the Stephens County Hospital.

A son of the late Frank and Violet Lord Youngblood, he was born August 8, 1926 in Franklin County, Georgia having lived most of his life in Stephens County.  He was retired from Robertson Furniture Company.  He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and the Friendship Sunday School Class. 

Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Ida Jean Cash Youngblood of the home; daughter, Laura Rebecca Gragg of Toccoa; son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Debbie Youngblood of Tococa; grandchildren, Brandon Youngblood ( Kimberly Brown) and Brent Gragg; great-grandchild, Logan Youngblood; twin brother and his wife, Dwayne and Edith Youngblood of Toccoa.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 18, 2017, 11 O’clock a.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend David Sosebee officiating. 

The family will be at the home and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Tuesday, 7 p.m. until 9 p.m.  Online condolences can be made at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Wayne Youngblood.
