Mrs. Sara Louise Collins Ansley, age 80 of 303 Hemlock Drive, Seneca, South Carolina passed away Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Rainey Hospice House, Anderson, South Carolina.
A daughter of the late Ira and Sara Wilson Collins, she was born March 15, 1937 in Stephens County, Georgia where she lived a greater part of her life. She was retired from Coats and Clark and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Ansley in 2004.
Survivors include two daughters, Sybil Ansley of Seneca, South Carolina and Cindy Mashburn of Cherokee, North Carolina; son and daughter-in-law, David and Donna Ansley of Anderson, South Carolina; six grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren; brother, Bud Collins of Anderson, South Carolina; sister, Betty Jean Durden of Toccoa.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 18, 2017, 3 O’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Kenneth Brown officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Cody Jones, James Kinsey, Michael Kinsey, Jonathan Kinsey and Dillon Kinsey.
The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Tuesday, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Online condolences can be made at www.acree-davisfh.com.
Interment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Sara Louise Ansley.
