Trudy Lee Keith

Trudy Lee Keith, age 67, passed away October 14, 2017.  She was born February 20, 1950 in Atlanta, Georgia to Norman and Virginia Fowke.  She was a graduate of North Hall High School, Gainesville, GA and attended Cumberland College in Kentucky. 

Trudy was a longtime resident of Middleburg, FL.  She was secretary to the provost at Kenyon College in Gambier Ohio during the 1980’s and worked for 20 years at Rogers, Towers, Ridge and Crawford in Jacksonville, FL as a legal secretary.  Trudy loved decorating especially during holidays, was an avid bird watcher, and enjoyed reading and traveling.  She attended Middleburg Baptist Church and was devoted to her Christian faith and lived it daily.  She was always charitable and warm to all she met. 

Trudy is predeceased by her parents Virginia and Norman Fowke, son, Ryan Keith April 2017, and sister-in-law, Dolores Keith.    

She is survived by her husband of 47 years Donald Keith; sisters, Donna Kinnaird of Palm Coast, FL and Sherry Fowke of Jacksonville, FL; niece, Sara Cascanet of Green Cove Springs, FL; nephews, Tim Brown of Sacramento, CA, Brian Taylor (Silke) of Niceville, FL, and Keith Fackler of Macon, GA; sister-in-law, Virginia Norquist (Grayson); cousins, Carla Rhodes, Mark Schick, John Schick, Rob Schick, all of Georgia; step-mother, Jane Fowke; step-sisters, Windy Stone and Sally Harper of Panama City, FL, and her beloved cat “Cooper”. 

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, October 28, 2017 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home.  Rev. Rex Fuller will officiate.  Interment will follow in Yellow Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour. 

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice.
