Judy Carlan

Mrs. Judy Carlan, age 67 of Gainesville, passed away Monday, October 16, 2017 at her residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, October 20, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Reverend Allen Passmore will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 and Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home.  Mrs. Carlan was born May 2, 1950 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Bill Frank Williams and Sula Mae White Williams.  She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.  Judy was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Carl E. Smallwood, her second husband, George H. Carlan and two of her sons, Steven L. Smallwood and Daryl P. Smallwood.

Mrs. Carlan is survived by her children, Angelia & Terry Willard of Union, South Carolina, Jeryle & Brandy Smallwood of Lockhart, South Carolina, Donald & Lisa Smallwood of Lawrenceville, Wayne Smallwood of Gainesville, Virgil & Ami Smallwood of Sugar Hill, David & Stephanie Smallwood of Gainesville and Mitchell Smallwood of Gainesville, 21 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and special fur baby “Piper”.
