David George Adams

Mr. David George Adams, age 63 of North Fleetwood Lane in Fair Play, S.C. passed away Friday, October 13, 2017 at his residence.

A son of the late Thomas Cliff and Sarah Head Adams, he was born August 5, 1954 in Stephens County, Georgia having lived most of his life in Savannah, Georgia.  He was retired from ABF Freight Line and was of the Presbyterian faith.  His hobbies included drag racing and loved working with children. 

Survivors include the wife of the home, Teresa Porter Adams; daughters and sons-in-law, Tleshia and Brent Farrar of Toccoa and Dawn and Keith Martin of Jacksonville, Florida; son and daughter-in-law, Bud and Claire Parker of Atlanta, Georgia; grandchildren Lillie Kate Farrar, Nicholas Martin, Matt Martin, Michele Caruvana, Justin Parker and Leida Parker; four brothers, Richard (Judy) Adams, Gene (Betty) Adams and Fred Adams all of Toccoa and Harold and Hazel Adams of Eastanollee; two sisters, Martha (Terry) Fowler of Carnesville and Cathy Holcomb of Toccoa; a number of nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service celebrating the life of Mr. Adams will be held at the home in Fair Play, South Carolina on Saturday, October 21, 2017, 3 O’clock p.m.
