William Aaron Hulsey

Obituary Date: Thursday, October 12, 2017

 Mr. William Aaron Hulsey, age 85 of Oakwood, passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Braselton, following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 11:00 am at Poplar Springs Baptist Church with interment to follow in Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.  Reverend Randall Hulsey and Reverend Andy Chapman will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Friday, October 13, 2017 from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Hulsey was born November 8, 1931 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late William Newton Hulsey and Lucy Bagwell Hulsey.  He retired from South Hall Middle School and was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.  Aaron was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Polly Moses Hulsey and six of his siblings, Theoria, Elbert, E. T., Della Ree, Elro and Willene.

Mr. Hulsey is survived by his daughter, Rita Campbell of Flowery Branch, his granddaughter, Ashley Campbell of Flowery Branch, his sister, Nellene Wallis of Flowery Branch and his sisters-in-laws, Hilda Cantrell of Oakwood, Shirley Moses of Gainesville and Johnie Hulsey of Flowery Branch.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA  30504 is in charge of arrangements.
