Cynthia Aileen West

Mrs. Cynthia Aileen West, age 77 of Gainesville, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Sugar Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.  Reverend Steve Stewart will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. West was born May 7, 1940 in Shelby, North Carolina to the late Sloan Benson Williams and Myrtle Earl Williams.  She was retired as a Hairdresser and was a member of Corner Stone Assembly of God.  Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Frank West.

Mrs. West is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Cindy & Dean Ford of Flowery Branch and daughter, Teresa Towe, 5 grandchildren, Tina & Mark Arrowood, April & Jeff Scroggs, Crystal Ford, Jennifer Towe and Stephanie Towe, 11 great-grandchildren, brother, Ralph Williams of Lawrenceville, brother & sister-in-law, Mondell & Francis Williams of Oakwood and sister & brother-in-law, Maybelle & Raymond Lee of Clermont.
