William Herman Kimbrell

Mr. William Herman Kimbrell, age 72 of Gillsville, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2017 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Reverend Ricky Casper will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from 4 – 7 pm at the funeral home. 

Mr. Kimbrell was born June 18, 1945 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Word Kimbrell and Cynthia Clark Kimbrell.  He retired from the U S Army and was of the Baptist Faith.  William was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Hazel Smith Kimbrell.

Mr. Kimbrell is survived by his children, Christy Bearden of Seneca, South Carolina, Erica Kemmitz of Clarkesville and William Roy Kimbrell of Gillsville and 11 grandchildren, Josie, Marcy and Christian Kemmitz, Anthony, Ariel and Allan Kimbrell, Kevin Moore, Kenny and Kimberly Farrar, Keslyn and Ashlyn Sanford.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA  30504 is in charge of arrangements.
