Betty Ruth Pinson Barron

Betty Ruth Pinson Barron, age 83, of Cumming passed away Friday, October 6, 2017. A loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. Betty was a member at Oak Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Rev. Larmon Roy Barron; son, Jimmy David Barron.

Survivors include her children, Roy and Tina Barron of Cumming, Debra and Larry Brooks of Cumming, Dennis and Teresa Barron of Cumming, Loraine and Magid Kaldas of Cumming; 26 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Bonnie and Junior Weatherford of Gainesville, Bobbie Jean and Jerrold Page of Gainesville, Janice and Leon Riggins of Gainesville; brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Sarah Pinson of Gainesville; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 8^th, at 4:00 pm at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Ruel Martin, Rev. Garry English, Rev. Dennis Bottoms and Rev. Craig Richard officiating.   Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Remains will be placed in state at 1:30 pm on Sunday at Oak Grove Baptist Church.
