Margaret Shadburn Smith

Margaret Shadburn Smith, 88, a lifelong resident of Forsyth County passed away Thursday, October 5, 2017.  She was a member of Beaver Ruin Baptist Church and is preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Smith; her parents, Marshall and Estie Hammond Shadburn; and her granddaughter, Casey Anna Bump.

Survivors include her children, Robert and Melanie Smith, Becky Smith Bump; grandchildren, Mattie Smith, Dawson Smith, Macey Smith; brothers, Bobby and Delores Shadburn, Lanny and Beverly Shadburn; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 7, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ruel Martin, Rev. Roger Shadburn and Rev. Michael Millwood officiating.  Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 12:00 to 3:00 and 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
