Junior Higgins

Junior Higgins, 83, of Dawsonville passed away Tuesday October 3, 2017 at Emory University Hospital following a short illness.

Born July 25, 1934 in Forsyth County to the late Roscoe and Beulah Higgins, he lived most of his life in Dawson County.  Mr. Higgins was also preceded in death by his sister, Emma Higgins; and brothers, Cecil Higgins, Lee Higgins, Clifford Higgins, R. H. Higgins, and E. Eugene Higgins.

Surviving are his nephew and niece, Wayne and Kathy Higgins, Dawsonville; and other relatives.

Graveside services will be held Thursday October 5, 2017 at 4 o’clock at Yellow Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.  Rev. Rudy Tribble will officiate.

The family will receive friends Thursday beginning at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
