Donald Lavern Horne, age 60 of Hull, GA passed away Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2017 at his residence.
Born in Athens, GA on February 24, 1957 he was the son of Onida Beard Horne and the late Arnold Horne. He worked in sales with Industrial Supplies and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Survivors in addition to his mother include sons, Derrick (Julie) Horne, Ila, Austin Horne, Ila; daughters, Amy Carter, Ila, Paige (Lance) Thomason, Maysville, Shelby (Jason) Cash, Hull; brother, Danny Horne, Statham; and 7 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2:30 pm Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Douglas Duncan officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 11 am – 2 pm prior to the service Saturday at the church.
