Susie Jeanette Kesler Burrell

Mrs. Susie Jeanette Kesler Burrell, age 86 of 130 Burrell Drive, Westminster, South Carolina passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Oconee Memorial Hospital.

A daughter of the late Homer and Mary Sue McFarlin Kesler, she was born September 17, 1931 in Franklin County, Georgia having lived in Stephens County for most of her life and the last several years in Oconee County, South Carolina.  She was employed with Revco Drugs as a sale clerk for a number of years.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Troy M. Burrell, Sr. in 1983 and by a son, Troy M. Burrell, Jr.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Mona and Russell Chappelear of Westminster, South Carolina; son, Ron Burrell of Toccoa.; two sisters, Nell Garland of Toccoa and Myrna McClain of Dallas, Georgia.

Graveside services will be Thursday, October 5, 2017, 2 O’clock p.m. at the Toccoa City Cemetery with The Reverend Jerrell Beatty officiating.
