Barbara S. Fowler

Barbara S. Fowler, age 87, of Cumming, passed away Monday, October 2, 2017. She was a member of Beaver Ruin Baptist Church and a native and lifelong resident of Forsyth County. Barbara was retired from the Forsyth County Board of Education. She is preceded in death by her husband Joe Douglas Fowler.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Bonita and Steve Pruitt of Cumming; son and daughter in-law, Ben and Celena Fowler of Cumming; brother and sister in law, John D. and Margaret Shadburn of Cumming; grandchildren, Madison Pruitt, Britian and Ben Wilson, Brandon Fowler, Victoria Fowler; great grandchildren, Avery Lane Auensen, Ellis Dean Hall and numerous other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 5, 2017 in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home at 2:00 pm with Rev. Roger Shadburn, Rev. Greg Rawlins and Rev. Gerald Blackburn officiating. Interment will at follow Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm and on Thursday, from 11am until the hour of service.
