River Jordan Anderson

River Jordan Anderson, 14, of Gainesville passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 1, 2017 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony Elrod, Rev. Eric Timms and Rev. Brian Hall officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on May 15, 2003 in Gainesville, he was the son of Homer Glenn Anderson and Deedra Irvin Anderson.  Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Russell Anderson.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Anderson is survived by his sister, Jessica Anderson of Gainesville; grandmother, Elizabeth Anderson of Cleveland; grandfather, Robert Irvin of Dahlonega and grandmother, Vickie Irvin of Dahlonega and several aunts, uncle and cousins.
