Mark Anthony Dacus

Mr. Mark Anthony Dacus, 56, of Dahlonega passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 from injuries sustained in an auto accident.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 1, 2017 in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Ken Dacus and Rev. Donnie Hicks will officiate.  Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Mr. Dacus was born on March 1, 1961 in Atlanta to Robert Gordon Dacus and the late LeeNora Hicks Dacus. He attended Full Gospel Church.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Dacus is preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Lee Dacus and David Leon Dacus.

Mr. Dacus is survived by his father, Robert Dacus of Dahlonega; sister and brother in law, Sandra (Mike) Bone of Mableton; brother and sister in law, Doyal and Jean Dacus of Jasper; brother, Travis Dacus of Lula; brother and sister in law, Rev. Ken and Peggy Dacus of Lula and aunts, uncle and a number of nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives.
