Lenord Braxton Mickler

Lenord Braxton Mickler, age 90, of Buford, GA passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017. Mr. Mickler is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Barbara Cash Mickler, Buford, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth Faye and Joe Sarchet, Buford, GA, Tammy Ann and John Blaylock, Buford, GA, Donna Michelle and John McElhenney, Gainesville, GA, Martha Elaine Mickler, Buford, GA, and Sara Lee Mickler, Buford, GA; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Mickler was born November 28, 1926 in Sumter County, Americus, GA. He was retired from Arrow Lumber Company. Mr. Mickler was a former member of Peachtree Road Baptist Church in Suwanee and a present member of Mt. Salem Baptist Church in Flowery Branch. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home in Buford, GA with Pastor Tim Hunter and Dr. Preston Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Salem Baptist Church Cemetery, 6152 Mt. Salem Circle, Flowery Branch, GA 30542. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, September 29, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
