Lewis Andrew Dill

Lewis Andrew Dill, age 91, of Mount Airy, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017.
 
Mr. Dill was born on November 3, 1925 in Habersham County, Georgia to the late Andrew and Emmie Gibby Dill. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Frances Dill, Grace Dill Clark, Ruth Dill Alexander; brothers, James Dill and Robert Dill. Mr. Dill was a member of Camp Creek Baptist Church. He was a retired Carpenter and Machinist.
 
Survivors include his sisters, Wilma Dill, of Mount Airy; Blanche Dill, of Mount Airy; and a number of nieces and nephews.
 
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 29, 2017 at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel with Rev. Billy Burrell, Rev. Tony Goss, and Pastor James Lyons officiating. Interment will follow in the Hazel Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Bill Barrs officiating.
 
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 28, 2017 at the funeral home.
