H. Wayne Nix

H. Wayne Nix, age 71, of Cumming, GA, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2017. He is preceded in death  by his wife, Charlotte L. Nix; parents, H. Paul and Velma Mooney Nix; sister, Sara Nix Wood; brothers, Walter Winford Nix and Tony L. Nix; son-in-law, Robby L Cowart.

Survivors include his daughter, Melody L. (Jimmy) Barnett; granddaughters, Kirsten and Katelyn Cowart; step grandson, J. Douglas Barnett; stepdaughter, C. Denise (Troy) Westmoreland; step grandsons, Travis and Justin Westmoreland; sisters, Kelly Nix (Jason) Martin, Janice Nix (Morris) Sweatman; brother, P. Michael (Margie) Nix and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral sevices for Mr. Nix will be held Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA, with Rev. Kevin Nix, Rev. Ruel Martin and George Cole officiating. Interment will follow at Roanoke Baptist Church Cemetery in Cumming, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, September 25, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
