Bobby Lamar Townley, age 59 , of Elberton, GA, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2017. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fratus and Helen Townley; wife, Deborah Miller Townley; sister, Genevia Elizabeth Townley; sister and brother-in-law, Cozetta Townley (Slim) Armour.

He is survived by his sisters, Mary Maggie Townley Anderson of Elberton, GA, Barbara Townley Mathews of Alabama, Linda Dianne Townley (Ronnie) Noles of Canton, GA, and Kerry Townley (J.R.) Keyes of Virginia; 4 nephews; 6 nieces; 8 grand nieces; 4 grand nephews; 1 great grand niece, KatieLynn.

Funeral Services for Mr. Townley will be held Sunday, September 24, 2017, at 3:00 p.m.  in the Chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA, with Rev. Phil Martin and Dr. Randy Smith will be officiating. Graveside services will be held Friday, September 29, at 10:30 a.m. at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA. the family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, September 23, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
