Larry Leon Holloway, 66, of Gainesville passed away on September 19, 2017 following complications from back surgery.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 23, 2017 in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Reverend Jimmy Roger Peck will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, September 22, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Born on March 19, 1951 in Cleveland, GA he was the son of the late Janet Edge Smith and Harrison Holloway. Mr. Holloway was self-employed as a house painter. He loved classic cars.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Holloway is preceded in death by his brothers, Harold Holloway, Eddie Smith, and Paul Smith, Jr.
An amazing husband, father and grandfather he is survived by his wife of 45 years, Nancy Holloway, sons and daughters in laws, Chris Holloway of Gainesville, Harold and Traci Holloway of Gainesville, Scott and Melissa Holloway of Gainesville, Dusty and Brittany Holloway of Gainesville; grandchildren, Jazmine Hayes, Corey Holloway, Kloe Holloway, Zander Holloway, Brieana Holloway, Kiala Holloway, Kinsli Holloway, Trinitee Holloway, Caden Holloway, Logan Holloway, Zoei Holloway, Lucas Holloway; sisters and brother in law, Wanda and Larry Allison of Cleveland, sister, Margie Morris of Gainesville; brother and sister in law, Frankie and Holly Smith of Gainesville and a number of other relatives also survive.
