Carl John Sutton

Carl John “Johnny” Sutton, age 73 of Cleveland, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at his residence.

Mr. Sutton was born on March 4, 1944, in Cleveland, Georgia, to the late Carl Fate and Dolly Mae Arp Sutton.  He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in the 3^rd Armor Division, and was a member of Tesnatee Baptist Church.  Mr. Sutton was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Sutton.

Survivors include his wife, Frances Sutton, Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law, Jackie and Jim Barnaby, Cleveland; grandchildren, Erin and Josiah Swing; Adam Ramey; great grandchildren, Colton Ramey, Sailor Ramey, Sadie Mae Swing ; brother and sister-in-law, J.C. and Shirley Sutton, Cleveland.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Tesnatee Baptist Church.  The Rev. Michael Clark and the Rev. Jim Barnaby will officiate.  Interment will follow at Gateway Memory Park.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
