Mrs. Addie Franklin Presley, age 97 of DeFoor Road, Toccoa, GA, passed away, Thursday, September 14, 2017 at the Stephens County Hospital.
A daughter of the late A. Edwin and Josie Stancil Franklin, she was born December 6, 1919 in Habersham County but lived most of her life in Stephens County. She retired from Coats & Clark with 30 years of service. She was a charter member of Grace Baptist Church and a member of the Joy Sunday School Class. She was a member of the Singing Saints. She and her late husband, W.F. Presley provided music ministry at the Toccoa Nursing Center. They were active in Gideon International. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, W.F. “Monk” Presley in 1999.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Bob and Susie Presley of Toccoa, Delma and Beverly Presley of Statesboro and Tony and Donna Presley of Toccoa; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; sister, Joann Walker of Toccoa; a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, September 16, 2017, 11 A.M. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend David Turner and The Reverend Mike Davis officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Worth Presley, Edwin Presley, Kenny Waters, Curtis Water, Jerry Waters and Phillip Walker. The remaining nephews will serve as honorary pallbearers and the Deacons of Grace Baptist will serve as honorary escort.

Interment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Addie Franklin Presley.
