Adrian Gonzalez Vargas

Mr. Adrian Gonzalez Vargas, age 92, of Gainesville passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at his residence, surrounded by his family.

Funeral Services will be 6:00 p.m., Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Centro Pastoral Juan Pablo II.  Father Hernan will officiate.  The family will receive friends 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 15, 2017 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mr. Vargas was born June 18, 1925 to the late Franciso Gonzalez Ramirez and Macaria Vargas Alvarez in Quitupan, Jalisco, Mexico.  He was a member of Centro Pastoral Juan Pablo II and a farmer.

Mr. Vargas is survived by his wife of 70 years, Maria Gonzalez Alvarez; 11 children; 60 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 3 great great-grandchildren.
