Nadean Bray Foster

Obituary Date: Tuesday, September 12, 2017

Mrs. Nadean Bray Foster, age 70 of Red Hollow Road, Martin passed away Sunday, September 10, 2017 at her residence.

 

A daughter of the late Fred L. and Margaret Gibson Bray, she was born May 29, 1947 in Franklin County, Georgia having lived all her life in Franklin and Stephens Counties.  She was employed with The Citizens Bank as a bookkeeper for 20 years. She later owned and operated Dreams Come True Bridal Shop and later worked with Harding-Fuller Insurance.  She was a member of Martin Baptist Church where she served as a Children’s Sunday School Teacher and Church Secretary. She was active in Nicaragua Missions. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Louie Bray and Rayford Bray.

 

Survivors include her husband of the home, Donald G. Foster; daughter and son-in-law, Tracie and Todd McEntyre of Beaver Creek, Ohio; two sons, Keith D. Foster and Kevin and Wesley Foster-Cox all of Martin; grandchildren, Tiffany McEntyre, Taylee McEntyre, Tyler McEntyre, Kevin McEntyre, Isabella Foster and Oliver Foster; mother-in-law, Zephene Foster of Toccoa; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Crandle and Cathy Bray of Forsyth, Georgia and Joe and Michelle Bray of Toccoa; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Janice and Lindon Roberts of Toccoa and Loretta and Ralph Moody of Martin; Nadean and Donald G. Adopted Christian family, Will and Tammy Brenes of Nicaragua.

 

Funeral services will be Thursday, September 14, 2017, 2 O’clock P.M. at Martin Baptist Church with The Reverend Tom Lee and The Reverend Roddy Turner officiating.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, David Foster, Chris Thomas, Ken Thomas, Bart York, Alan Mitchell and Heath McClung.

 

The family will be at the home on Red Hollow Road and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5 P.M until 8 P.M.  Online condolences can be made at www.acree-davisfh.com.

 

Flowers are optional.  Memorials may be made to Nicaragua Missions, c/o Martin Baptist Church, P.O. Box 152, Martin, Georgia  30557 in memory of Mrs. Nadean Bray Foster.

 

Interment will follow in the Martin Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Nadean Bray Foster.
