Sarah Nell Smith Cason, age 88, of Lawrenceville, GA, died Sunday, September 10, 2017 after an extended illness. Funeral service will be held Friday, September 15, 2017 at 11:30 AM in the Mausoleum at Floral Hills Cemetery in Tucker. Dr. Frank Cox will officiate. The Family will receive friends Friday, September 15, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Mausoleum. The family requests in lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to North Metro Baptist Church (1026 Old Peachtree Rd., Lawrenceville, GA 30043). Sarah is survived by her children, Terry Fisher, FL, Susan Spector, Lawrenceville, GA, Gregg Smith, Conyers, GA; grandchildren, Robin Walters, Kelly Fisher, Kyle Fisher, Nathan Smith, Sarah Smith; great grandchildren, Callee Ann Fisher, Jesse Fisher, Jade Fisher, Jillian Smith; sister, Dot Carson, FL; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Sarah was born in Grover, NC and moved to the metro Atlanta area in 1953. She retired from Star94 Radio as a comptroller. Sarah was a member of North Metro Baptist Church and the Red Hat Society.
