Johnny B. Scales, 85, of Woodstock, Ga, passed away peacefully on Sept. 10, 2017 surrounded by loved ones. The funeral service will be held Sunday, September 17, 2:00pm at Alexander Funeral Home in Cleveland, GA. Family will receive guests at 1:00pm prior to service. Burial will follow the service at nearby Shoal Creek Cemetery.
Johnny is survived by his children, Janet Scales Maher (Steve), Truett Scales, and Martha Scales (Vicki), grandchildren, Dave Maher (Stephanie), Hannah Sage Maher, Emily Scales, and Ashlee Scales, and great-grandchild, Ripley Maher. Also survived by siblings, Jackie Smith, Truett R. Scales (Joan), and Charlene Farrell.
Johnny is preceded in death by his wife, Jeanie Rothgeb Scales, and his son, Robert Lee Scales. .
