Howard G. Jackson, Jr.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Monday September 11, 
2017 at Ward’s Funeral Home Chapel for Howard G. Jackson Jr., age 77 
of Gillsville. The Rev. Michael Parker will officiate. Interment will 
follow at Memorial Park South Cemetery. The family will receive 
friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday 
at the funeral home. Mr. Jackson passed Saturday September 9, 2017. 

Mr. Jackson was born to the late Howard Grady Jackson Sr. and Ona 
Pauline Jackson. He had worked for Chicopee Manufacturing and loved 
all his children and grandchildren. He loved spending time outdoors 
and is now reunited with his beloved dog Sadie. He was preceded in 
death by his sisters, Willene Hudgins, Judy Jackson, Frances Jackson 
and Mary Lopez. 

Survivors include wife of 41 years who he dearly loved, Nina Jackson, 
children and spouses, Kay and Danny Dalton, June and Johnny Gaddis, 
Howard “Howie” Grady III and Lorraine Jackson, Jennifer and Eddie 
Howard, Shane and Melissa Jackson, all of Gillsville, 13 
grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and 
nephews.
