David Bryan Howser, 55, of Dawsonville passed away Tuesday September 5, 2017 following a sudden illness.
Mr. Howser was born June 5, 1962 and a graduate of South Cobb High School. After high school he entered the United States Marine Corps where he served as a Recon Marine. He was a decorated veteran with numerous awards and medals. An avid nature and animal lover, he will be dearly missed.
Surviving are his children, Kristi and Justin Hayles, Bryan Sims, Roza Gray; granddaughter, Lily Hayles; father, Robert David Howser, III, Dawsonville; mother, Diahn and Charlie Brown, Conover, NC; sisters and brothers in law, Crystal and Danny Gilreath, Monroe, GA, Tanya and Devin Davis, Dawsonville; brothers and sisters in law, Greg and Kerri Brown, Grayson, GA, Keith and Angel Brown, Kathleen, GA; Niece, Cayla Gilreath and Steven Rodgers; nephew, Winston Davis; great nephew, Jameson Rodgers; other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Saturday September 9, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Scott Sorrells will officiate. Interment will follow in the Dawsonville City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday September 8 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
