John “Jay” Warren Nicholson, Jr

Mr. John “Jay” Warren Nicholson, Jr., age 19 of 1962 Wolf Pitt Road, Eastanollee passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Emory University Hospital.

A son of Warren and Marsha Hayes Nicholson, he was born December 17, 1997 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived all his life.  He was a May, 2017 Graduate of Stephens County High School and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his parents, Warren and Marsha Hayes Nicholson of the home; sister, Courtney Nicholson of the home; grandparents, Rick and Joyce Hayes and Robert and Darlene Palmer both of Toccoa and Johnny Nicholson and the late Mirinda Nicholson of Carnesville; a number of aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be Thursday, September 7, 2017, 4:30 P.M. at Christ Fellowship with The Reverend Gary Ledford and The Reverend Scott Collett officiating.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Jimmy Dickerson, Tyler Jones, Thomas Nicholson, Dale Nicholson Anthony Adams, Austin Martin, Blaine Jones and Mack Nicholson.

The family will be at the home of Trina Jones, 392 Buena Vista Extension, Eastanollee and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. Online condolences can be made by visiting the website at www.acree-davisfh.com.
