Jimmy McGriff

Jimmy McGriff, age 73, of Cumming, GA, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2017.  He was a United States Navy veteran.  Jimmy loved cars especially Mustangs. He is preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Ginny McGriff.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Lavon Long Gazaway McGriff; sons, Keith McGriff and Scott Gazaway; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Sherry (Tony) Stalnaker, Ronnie Long, Betsy Marshall, Janice (Mark) Rollman, Melinda Marshall (Randy Clanton), Johnny (Gayle) Marshall, Marsha Gazaway, and Linda (Tony) Allen; grandchildren, Hannah Gazaway and Haley Gazaway and Fiancé Derrick Hatfield; along with a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. McGriff will be held Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with   Rev. Jack Biddy officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help offset funeral expenses.
