Charles Raymond Martin

Mr. Charles Raymond Martin, age 89, of Hoschton passed away Friday, September 1, 2017, at his residence, surrounded by his family.

Graveside Services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 8, 2017 at Memorial Park South Cemetery.  Rev. Dave Channell will officiate.

Mr. Martin was born August 25, 1928 to the late Charles Raymond & Margaret Cecilia Martin in Meadville, Pennsylvania.  He was a member of Blackshear Place Baptist Church and had served in the Army.  Mr. Martin worked in the Insurance Industry for over 41 years, retiring from Independent Insurance Company as an Insurance Claims Manager.

Mr. Martin is survived by his wife, JoAnn Martin of Hoschton; sons, Charles Philip Martin of Gainesville and Paul Cowan Martin, M.D., of Gainesville; 4 grandchildren.
