Mr. Robert Ray Lingle, age 73, of Braselton passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2017.
A Celebration of Life will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 5, 2017 in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home. Rev. Edwin R. Brigham will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service.
Mr. Lingle was born May 24, 1944 to the late Robert Earl & Frances Johnson Lingle in Wooster, Ohio. He served in the United States Air Force and was of the Lutheran Faith. Mr. Lingle was a lifelong teacher and Engineer, then upon his retirement he became a Hall County Bus Driver. He was the designer of the first ladies portable hair dryer and the first moving walkway; however, his proudest moment was being a grandpa to his 4 grandchildren.
Mr. Lingle is survived by wife, Regina Lingle of Braselton; son & daughter-in-law, Matthew & Jody Lingle of Alpharetta; grandchildren, Mitchell, Kelsey, Amelia and Xander; brother & sister-in-law, Rick & Tammy Lingle of Wooster, Ohio; sister & brother-in-law, Linda & John Wood of Wooster, Ohio; sister, Nancy Stanford of Wooster, Ohio; and several nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hurricane Victims.
