Carol Jean Hood Bartlett

Carol Jean Hood Bartlett, age 67, of Buford, GA passed away on Monday, August 28, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-five years, James R. Bartlett. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Bartlett, Buford, GA; grandchildren, Alyssa Bartlett, Atlanta, GA, Bria Barrett, Buford, GA; mother, Patricia Buckner, Sebring, FL; Elbert Buckner, Sebring, FL; brother, Eugene Hood, Braselton, GA; sisters, Patricia and Len Labrie, Phoenix, AZ; Paula and Ken Houck, Kathleen, GA; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bartlett was born April 13, 1950 in Ashtabula, Ohio. She was a 1968 graduate of Ashtabula High School and was retired from Gwinnett County Public School System after eleven years of service. She worked for Great American Cookie Company for four years and was of the Baptist faith. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home in Buford, GA with Baptist minister Dr. Jim Ferguson officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to N.E. GA Hospice in memory of Carol Bartlett.
