William Michael “Mike” Whitfield

William Michael “Mike” Whitfield, 52, of Murrayville, GA passed away Saturday, August 26, 2017 at his residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth Lamar Garner officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, August 28, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Born on July 26, 1965 in Atlanta Ga he was the son of the late John Hoyt and Brenda Shirley Brock Whitfield. He was a truck driver and of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Whitfield is survived by his brother, John Harold Whitfield of Murrayville. Mr. Whitfield was cared for and survived by his best friends, Steve and Audrey Orr, Kenny and Mrs. K. Garner, Shaun and Amy Jo Lyons, JR and Becky Bergeron, Kyle Hanks and Laney Gunn.
