Betty Mae Blevins

Mrs. Betty Mae Blevins, age 74, of Homer died Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center.  Mrs. Blevins was born in Homer to the late, Herman and Novis Roberts Craig.  Mrs. Blevins retired from Milliken and was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Blevins was also preceded in death by her brother, Charles Craig and granddaughter, Ashley Blevins.

Mrs. Blevins is survived by her husband, Forrest Blevins of Homer; daughter, Carol Beal (Randy) of Homer; sons, Wayne Blevins (Connie) of Homer and Ronald Blevins (Stephanie) of Commerce; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren; sister, Patsy Gordon of Commerce.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 26^th at 1:00 PM from Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with Rev. James Duncan and Rev. Matthew Mote officiating with the interment following in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday night from 5-8 PM.
