Kenney Joe Ray, age 52 of Gainesville, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Waters officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 from 5:00-8:00pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Ray was born October 14, 1964 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late John Dean Ray, Sr. and the late Jessie Mae Hewell Ray. He was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Ray is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Randall and June Ray of Clermont; sister and brother-in-law, Melissa and Danny Boger of Gainesville; brother, Wayne Ray of Gainesville; brother, Carlos Ray of Dublin; brother, Calvin Ray of Gainesville; sister, Gail Mott of Gainesville; brother and sister-in-law, John Ray, Jr. and Fay Ray of Gainesville; numerous nieces and nephews.
