Jimmie W. Braswell

Jimmie W. Braswell, age 78, of Buford, GA passed away on Monday, August 21, 2017. He is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, Judy Williams Braswell; children, Luann and Paul Bryant, Hanceville, AL, Kelly and Dave Miles, Suwanee, GA; six grandchildren, Philip Braswell, Zachary and Meagan Braswell, Misa Ruffino, Megan Osborne, Kaitlyn Osborne, and Evan Osborne; five great grandchildren, Amanda Ruffino, Gabriela Ruffino, Isabelle Braswell and Jep Braswell, Reagan Maxey; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Braswell was born December 23, 1938 in Macclesfield, NC. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He was a 1957 graduate of Charles L. Coon High School in Wilson, NC, and attended Dekalb Community College. He was retired from AGCO Finance after thirty-four years of service. He was a member of Shadowbrook Baptist Church in Suwanee, GA.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home in Buford, GA with Rev. Rick Patchin officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA with military honors. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, August 22, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
